Basic Design Positioning

Match your embroideries perfectly every time! Always know exactly where your embroidery is placed without having to use templates with the Basic Design Positioning feature on the DESIGNER TOPAZ™ sewing and embroidery machines. The Design Positioning Wizard makes it so easy!

Adjusts To Your Fabric Thickness For Perfect, Even Feed

With a tap on the foot control or the touch of a button; the Sensor Foot Pressure on your DESIGNER TOPAZ™ sewing machine automatically senses the fabric thickness – resulting in a perfect even-feed of any fabric and/or batting. The Sensor Foot Pivot senses the fabric thickness for instant pivoting when the needle is in the down position.

The Secret Behind The Right Setting At The Right Time!

With the Exclusive SEWING ADVISOR® feature there’s no guessing. Simply enter fabric type, weight, and sewing technique and all the settings are programmed automatically – stitch, stitch width, stitch length, thread tension, sewing speed and presser foot pressure. It will also recommend the presser foot, needle type and size. With the Exclusive SEWING ADVISOR® feature, it’s like sewing with a pair of helping hands!

High Quality Stitches For Every Technique

Choose from a total of 565 stitches and lettering on the DESIGNER TOPAZ™ 40 machine. Choose the stitch on the Color Touch Screen. The stitch appears in actual size and at recommended settings – you are ready to sew!

Large Sewing And Embroidery Surface

You can create and embroider designs up to 240x150mm (9½” x 6″) and embroider without re-hooping on the DESIGNER TOPAZ™ 40 machine. Sew large projects easily thanks to the large area to the right of the needle, 200mm (almost 8″).
